60 Jakpreneurs Enliven Ramadan Fest at Artha Gading Mall

Ramadan Fest 2021 is held on May 1-9 and located on the right side of Atrium Nusantara, 1st Floor of Artha Gading Mall, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta. It sells variety of superior products, start from culinary, handicrafts, fashion to cosmetics.

North Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Sub-agency Head, Yati Sudiharti conveyed, Ramadan Fest 2021 is held at Artha Gading Mall to revive people's economy during the pandemic. Last year, offline bazaar that was projected to market Jakpreneur's products was stopped due to pandemic and diverted to online marketing through North Jakarta Jakpreneur Online Bazaar (BORJU), Let's Shop Online in North Jakarta Jakpreneur (ABON JAWARA), and others.
"Ramadan Fest is held to help people fulfilling their needs during Ramadan as well as promoting products of small and medium enterprises," she mentioned, Thursday (5/6).
Four days, South Jakarta Ramadhan Fest Has Earned more than Rp 46 MillionAccording to her, there are 60 coached entrepreneurs (Jakpreneurs) in North Jakarta who participated to enliven Ramadan Fest 2021. Those Jakpreneurs are coached by 6 UKPDs, namely PPKUKM Sub-agency; Empowerment, Children Protection, and Population Control (PPAPP) Sub-agency; Social Sub-agency; Manpower, Transmigration (Nakertrans) and Energy Sub-agency; Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency; and Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security (PPAPP) Sub-agency.
This event also received supports from various private companies, including Artha Gading Mall that provides a venue for this event, Bank DKI, PT. Mayora Indah, and other parties in building
synergy to improve people's economy through this event."We hope bazaar activities can be held continuously to develop MSMEs in North Jakarta region. In order to prevent COVID-19 transmission, its implementation will adhere to health protocol," she asserted.
One of MSMEs who participated in this event, Syafrina (18) who is Jakpreneur assisted by KPKP Sub-agency from Rawa Badak Selatan Urban Village, Koja Sub-district, stated that her side sells culinary product in form of sambal (chili paste) under brand 'Sambal Mbak Pintul' and boi tamarind lime drink.
"I sell sambal pecel, sambal bawang, sambal rebon cabe ijo, sambal cumi asin with prices between Rp 20,000-30,000. There is also boi tamarind lime drink with price Rp 12,000 and Rp 50,000 for its extract," she explained.
She was very grateful to be participated in Ramadan Fest event since it helped her in marketing her products more widely in public.
"It is very good for introducing MSMEs products to a wider community. It can inspire us to be more creative and get opportunity to promote ourselves in well-known malls," she said.
