UP AGD of Health Agency Holds Socialization at Mall

Jakarta Health Agency's Emergency Ambulance Management Unit (UP AGD) holds socialization and education through 'Ambulance Goes to Mall' event at Ciputra Jakarta Mall on May 6-8, 2021.

Visitors can also see ambulance and URC from up close, along with its equipment

In this activity, UP AGD wanted to introduce emergency ambulance to the community, especially mall visitors, while seeing devices used in the ambulance.

Jakarta Health Agency's UP AGD Head, Winarto stated, Ambulance Goes to Mall can add insight to the public regarding medical emergency and how to handle it. Because in this event, visitors can also practice how to handle medical emergency properly.

"Visitors will be guided by AGD officers who are professional in emergency field to know more about AGD. Visitors can also see ambulance and URC from up close, along with its equipment," he added, Friday (5/7).

He explained, Ambulance Goes to Mall is also enliven with Fast Response Community Talk Show, knowledge and direct practice to handle people with heart disease and other emergency simulations.

Through this activity, he expected more people could understand about AGD services, especially emergency number 112/119, thus when medical emergency situation occurs, people can call that number to get medical assistance.

"Mall is chosen as the location for this activity because it is easier for people to access it. Besides, mall is visited by all levels of society in Jakarta and we hope it can encourage people to get free ambulance service," he conveyed.
