Collapsed Wall of Rawa Kepiting RPH's Repaired in 2015

A wall of Rawa Kepiting'a Animal Slaughterhouse (RPH) in Cakung, East Jakarta that was collapsed since two months ago, is not yet repaired. Whereas, as many as 21 chicken slaughterhouses in Matraman will be relocated to such slaughterhouse in January 2015.

There has been no repair so far, whereas we had proposed repair to related unit. If the wall is not repaired, overflowing waters from drain will spill out into the bridge

As quoted by beritajakarta.com, the wall as long as 170 centimeters has been razed to the ground and its debris left piled alongside the drain. Even, weeds as high as 10-20 centimeters already enveloped the wall.

Most debris covered by mud from the drain with a width of 2.5 meters. Not only that, the fence also collapsed and is very endangering the safety of others.

Collapsed Road Under Karet Flyover Repaired

Komar, one of Rawa Kepiting RPH employees revealed there is no repair from related unit, even though his side has reported the incident to the East Jakarta Livestock and Fishery Sub-Department. He explained, the safety wall was collapsed gradually from 10 meters up to 170 meters. It has a height of 1.5 meters.

"There has been no repair so far, whereas we had proposed repair to related unit. If the wall is not repaired, overflowing waters from drain will spill out into the bridge," he stressed, Monday (11/17).

According to him, Jakarta Marine and Agriculture Department had reviewed the wall yet there was no follow-up. At that time, they promised to install river stones temporarily in a bid to prevent landslide on sheet piles and other walls.

Head of East Jakarta Livestock and Fishery Sub-Department, Wachyuni via short message mentions the collapsed wall will be repaired in 2015.
