"This is one of ways to contain the spread of COVID-19 transmissions," he expressed, Wednesday (5/12).

He explained the limitation on the capacity of visitors was implemented by applying an open-close scheme. This meant that access to Ancol area would be closed when it reached its maximum capacity and reopened if the visitor capacity decreased.

"We apologize if visitors are forced to wait for a moment at the entrance gate when the capacity has reached its maximum. They are allowed to enter again when some visitors have left the Ancol," he explained.

He added there were no special criteria for visitors who will enter the Ancol area. However, every visitor was urged to comply with health protocols, especially children and the elderly.

"Hopefully the family will accompany them (children and elderly). Work together to run health protocols so you can have fun together," he exclaimed.

As for the information, the Ancol tourism area has obtained the certification of Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environment (CHSE) from the Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry.

There are around 2,000 permanent employees, outsourced workers, and operational partners of Taman Impian Jaya Ancol who have received the Covid-19 vaccination.
