Data Collection of People Returning to North Jakarta is Intensively Monitored

North Jakarta Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) Sub-agency intensifies monitoring data collection on residents who are returning from their hometown (mudik) after Eid holiday.

Currently, 129 residents data has been inputted

North Jakarta Dukcapil Sub-agency Head, Edward Idris mentioned, up to this day, there are 129 residents who have just returned to North Jakarta. 103 of them are Jakarta residents, while 26 others are not.

City Uses Data Warga Application to Monitor Newcomers

"Currently, 129 residents data has been inputted and its number will increase based on input from RT/RW Heads through Data Warga application which managed by Jakarta Dukcapil Agency," he conveyed, Monday (5/17).

So far, his side has intensified monitoring data collection on residents who had returned from mudik. Travelers data are collected as an effort to anticipate COVID-19 transmission and occurrence of new cluster after Eid.

His side also intensified socialization to all urban villages regarding the use of Data Warga application. He ensured that North Jakarta Dukcapil Sub-agency operator who were deployed to urban villages can assist local RT/RW administration in collecting residents data.

"RT/RW administrators act as Data Warga application users. But later our operators in urban village can help them if they don't understand how to use it," he added.

Residents who were recorded, he continued, would be asked about their COVID-19 test result. If they haven't carried out the test, local sub-district health center personnel or urban village officials will facilitate them to take rapid antigen test or PCR test.

"Data collection is carried out as the continuation of COVID-19 test. Later, this data will be also used as residents data bank in making government policies," he closed.
