10 Sacks of Waste and Mud Collected from Channels on Panggang Island

By doing so, the Panggang Island is expected to be free of inundation when it rains

Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency officers have managed to collect 10 sacks of waste and mud from water channels and drainage controls, locally known as bak kontrol spread over RT 01, 03, and 06/RW 01 Panggang Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district.

"This is a routine activity to maintain channels in residential areas thus they function properly," expressed Thousand Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Hendri, Tuesday (5/18).

Afterwards, the officer then sent those sacks of waste to residents who need fertilizer.

"By doing so, the Panggang Island is expected to be free of inundation when it rains," he stated.
