Pulo Gebang Terminal Still Applies Strict Health Protocol Although Homecoming Ban Has Ended

Although Eid homecoming ban had ended on Monday (5/17), Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal administrators in Cakung, East Jakarta, still required travelers to comply with health protocol.

If they cannot show COVID-free certificate, we will facilitate them to take free antigen and GeNose tests on the second floor

Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal Management Unit Head, Bernad Octavianus Pasaribu stated, travelers who want to leave city without bringing COVID-free certificate are required to take rapid antigen test or GeNose test on the 2nd Floor of terminal.

If their antigen or GeNose test results are reactive, he continued, his side will directed travelers to take PCR test. If their PCR test results are positive, health worker will refer them to Wisma Atlet or nearest referral hospitals.

One-way Traffic on Pulogebang Begins

"If they cannot show COVID-free certificate, we will facilitate them to take free antigen and GeNose tests on the second floor," he mentioned, Tuesday (5/18).

Regarding antigen and GeNose testing in terminal, East Jakarta Health Sub-agency has deployed 6-8 health workers to serve the travelers.

So far, there were two travelers found with reactive antigen test results. Two of them are currently being isolated while waiting for PCR results. One of them has just returned from her hometown in Kudus, West Java, while the other one want to go to her hometown in Padang, West Sumatera.

"So far, there are not many travelers because of inspections in number of locations. We predict homecoming wave will start to increase next week," he said.
