Transjakarta Operates Two More Non-BRT Routes

PT. Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) reoperates Non-Bus Rapid Transit (Non-BRT) service for Intan Park-Maritime Museum (GR4) and Kota Tua Explorer (GR5) routes. These routes will be the 152 and 153 routes that have been reoperated during pandemic.

PT. Transjakarta President Director, Sardjono Jhony Tjitrokusumo mentioned, these two routes had been temporarily suspended to suppress and break the chain of COVID-19 transmission.
"As people's activity recover, starting on Thursday (5/20), this service has been effective in serving the public," he said Friday (5/21).
After Eid, Transjakarta BRT and Non-BRT Services Return to NormalAlthough it is free, he explained that people are still required to tap in and tap out using Tap on Bus (ToB) machines available in fleets to enjoy the service.
"We hope by reopening these two routes, we can facilitate people's mobility in their daily activities," he conveyed.
His side ensured all bus fleets operating have met safety standards during pandemic, such as being sterilized regularly using disinfectant, installed with safety distance signs both on bus seats and floor, each fleets are also equipped with hand sanitizer that can be used by customers.
"We are still limiting number of passengers on bus fleet, maximum 50 percent of total capacity, where it is 30 people for medium bus size. So, customers can feel safer and more comfortable in using Transjakarta service," he stated.
