South Jakarta Pusip Distributes 500 Reading Books

South Jakarta Library and Archive (Pusip) Sub-agency distributed 500 copies of reading books in second quarter of Inisiatif Keluarga Ringkas Aksara (IKRA) program which carried out on May 24-June 5.

Families in five urban villages that participate in IKRA program will be lent books for two weeks

South Jakarta Pusip Sub-agency Head, Evita Saiverda mentioned, 500 books were distributed to Petogogan, Mampang Prapatan, Bangka, Pesanggrahan, and Petukangan Selatan Urban Villages. Each urban villages received 100 books.

"Families in five urban villages that participate in IKRA program will be lent books for two weeks," she informed, Monday (5/31).

IKRA Program Held in Harapan and Tidung Islands

According to her, participants from five urban villages were very enthusiastic in participating IKRA program. It could be seen from their documentation in form of photos and reading activities with family members, storytelling videos, book summaries which sent by TP PKK in their respective urban villages.

"The best documentation of IKRA program will get appreciation from the organizers. We hope the second quarter of IKRA program can run well," she conveyed.
