Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma has instructed the ranks of the regional working unit (UKPD) to synchronize citizen data accurately. It is important for long-term interests.
"It aim is to present data on residents in Central Jakarta in real terms, how many non-permanent and de facto residents live in one location and are outside Jakarta," he expressed, when he opened a socialization about inputting the Data Warga app and compiling urban village profiles in the Main Multipurpose Room of the Central Jakarta Mayor's Office, Wednesday (6/2).
Data Warga Records 36,570 People Entering JakartaHe said that currently the population data collection process held by a number of UKPDs was still partial and only used when needed for certain purposes, for instance at the time of vaccination or data collection of travelers.
He explained the mechanism for collecting data on residents could be conducted after collaborating with the Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) and the PPAPP agencies. Afterwards, data synchronization was done between Carik Data and Data Warga apps.
"Synchronization of warga data and carik data owned by the two agencies complements each other thus the de facto data presented can be used more effectively for long-term interests," he uttered.
