South Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency deployed five personnel to repair collapsed retaining wall on Jalan Kebagusan II, Kebagusan Urban Village, Pasar Minggu.

We estimate the repair to be completed in the next two weeks

South Jakarta SDA Sub-agency Head, Mustajab conveyed, repair work had been carried out since last month. From total length 40 meters, his side has repaired 25 meters.

"The remaining 15 meters are still being repaired by digging foundation as deep as 70 centimeters to make the retaining wall stronger," he said, Thursday (6/3).

According to him, retaining wall was collapsed due to age, thus it was not strong enough to hold water when it rained with high intensity.

"If the weather is nice, we estimate the repair to be completed in the next two weeks," he mentioned.
