PT MRT Jakarta Receives SafeGuard Label

PT MRT Jakarta has received the SafeGuard Label from Surveyor Indonesia and Bureau Veritas for their commitment to implementing health protocols related to Covid-19. It was awarded following an audit that took place in early May.

Through this one standard of recognition, users can rest assured that the MRT is safe for all and free from the spread of Covid-19

PT MRT Jakarta President Director, William Sabandar expressed his grateful and appreciation for the award.

PT MRT Jakarta is one of the operators and providers of public transportation in Indonesia who wants to show a good and qualified commitment to health and continue to make public transportation facilities safe for all from the spread of Covid-19.

"Through this one standard of recognition, users can rest assured that the MRT is safe for all and free from the spread of Covid-19," he expressed, Monday (6/7).

Finance and Strategic Planning Director for PT Surveyor Indonesia, Rosmanidar Zulkifli appreciated PT MRT for showing seriousness in dealing with the outbreak.

"This label is a testament to their commitment to protecting and providing a sense of calm and trust for employees and MRT service users. We can continue to do activities and slowly raise productivity by continuing to implement health protocols," he explained.

He reminded that health protocols in public are the shared responsibility of PT MRT Jakarta, Surveyor Indonesia as the provider of Covid-19 protocol assurance services, and the general public.

"It will be valid for the next six months or until November 3. Afterwards, there will be a re-audit to see if the implementation is still consistently applied," he stated.

As for the information, during the audit, SIBV saw firsthand how the health protocols were implemented at the depot, the PT MRT Jakarta office and at every 13 stations. Even, the mystery guest method was also applied by SIBV in a bid to see directly its implementation in the field.
