Update! Here is MRT Operational Schedule Starting Today

The operator limits the number of passengers to 70 percent of normal capacity

PT MRT Jakarta has announced changes in the operational schedule during the micro-scale public activity restrictions (PPKM Mikro).

According to William Sabandar, President Director of PT MRT Jakarta, starting today until Friday, the MRT train would operate at 5 AM to 9:30 PM and Saturday - Sunday (weekend) at 6 AM to 9 PM.

"The operator limits the number of passengers to 70 percent of normal capacity," he expressed, Monday (5/24).

He explained the headway time between stations on weekdays was every five minutes at peak hours or at 7 AM to 9 AM and 5 PM to 7 PM. As for the outside of peak hours, weekends, and headway holidays was every 10 minutes.

It was a follow-up to the Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Decree number 196/2021 on the Extension of Technical Guidelines for Limiting Transport Capacity and Operational Time for Internal Transportation Facilities amid PPKM Mikro.

"We call on commuters to be disciplined in implementing health protocols in MRT area, such as wearing a mask, maintaining social distancing, washing hands, and not speaking, either one or two directions while on the train and the station platform area," he asserted.
