Central Jakarta Parekraf Intensifies Health Protocol Monitoring in Restaurants and Cafes

Central Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy (Parekraf) Sub-agency and Satpol PP will intensify health protocol monitoring in restaurants and cafes featuring live music.  

Business actors must have Tourism Business Registration Certificate (TDUP)

Central Jakarta Parekraf Sub-agency Head, Irwan conveyed, intensified monitoring was carried out after government allowed live music performance in restaurants or cafes according to Tourism and Creative Economy Agency Head Decree No. 381/2021.

"It is carried out to ensure owners of restaurants and cafes featuring live music to comply with health protocol during COVID-19 pandemic," he stated, Friday (6/11).

He explained that health protocol should be implemented by restaurants and cafes owners by limiting customers capacity maximum 50 percent and applying safe distance between music players.

"Customers are also not allowed to contribute songs," he added.

According to him, simple live music is allowed to revive restaurants or cafes, as well as artists.

"Business actors must have Tourism Business Registration Certificate (TDUP) stated that cafe or restaurant is holding live music," he mentioned.
