In North Jakarta, Ramadan Fest 2021 Turnover Reaches Rp 84 Million

Ramadan Fest which held by North Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperative and Small Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) on May 1-9, 2021 managed to record turnover Rp 84,150,650.

Ramadan Fest helps people to meet their needs in Ramadan as well as promoting SMEs products

North Jakarta PPKUKM Sub-agency Head, Yati Sudiharti mentioned, Ramadan Fest was carried out on the right side of Atrium Nusantara on 1st floor of Artha Gading Mall, Kelapa Gading.

"During the event from May 1 to 9, the turnover reaches more than Rp 84 million," she said, Tuesday (5/11).

60 Jakpreneurs Enliven Ramadan Fest at Artha Gading Mall

The turnover was collected by 60 fostered entrepreneurs under 6 UKPDs that support Jakpreneur in North Jakarta. Those are PPKUKM Sub-agency, Empowerment, Child Protection, and Population Control (PPAPP) Sub-agency, Social Sub-agency, Manpower, Transmigration (Nakertrans) and Energy Sub-agency, Tourism and Creative Economy (Parekraf) Sub-agency, and Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-agency. Every traders are given the opportunity to trade for three days alternately.

There were various superior products from food, beverage, handicraft, fashion, and cosmetic sold at Ramadan Fest at Artha Gading Mall.

"Ramadan Fest helps people to meet their needs in Ramadan as well as promoting SMEs products," she conveyed.

She expected Ramadan Fest could be held again in the future. Because this event was very beneficial for Jakpreneurs in North Jakarta to promote their products.

"Hopefully this bazaar will be held continuously because it is very beneficial for SMEs. People really miss offline bazaar like this. It is held again this year after being temporarily suspended due to pandemic last year," she expressed.

She also hoped bazaar similar to Ramadan Fest can be held in other locations such as in sub-district offices or mayor offices.

"I hope offline bazaar can be held not only every Ramadan or ahead of Eid, but also on other occasions, either in sub-district offices or mayor offices. Of course, by implementing health protocol," she stated.
