Second Stage of Bimtek for Food and Beverage Entrepreneurs Begins

The Jakarta Industry Trade Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Agency is holding the second stage of Technical Guidance (Bimtek) for Food and Beverage Entrepreneurs, which will take place on June 15 to 18.

It aims to improve the knowledge of participants to create and create contemporary food menus

It is held in the PPKUKM Agency's Handicraft and Textile Industry Unit Hall and is participated by 30 Jakpreneurs from five urban cities.

The menu materials given include making various pies, breads and toasts of various flavors; cheesecake biscoff roll; klepon roll; cream liners; rice bowls; fish salted eggs; barbeque sauce chicken; and beef broccoli.

Food Safety Bimtek Held to Jakpreneurs in Thousand Islands

Jakarta PPKUKM Agency Secretary, Ety Syartika expressed it is a place to facilitate Jakpreneurs to produce quality food and beverage products, improve the regional economy, as well as absorb labor. Thus, participants could expand the market and develop their business.

"It aims to improve the knowledge of participants to create and create contemporary food menus. Certainly this is free of charge," she stated, Tuesday (6/15).

She explained those who already have a business in the food sector need to be given additional skills in order to expand their business. It was not only presenting contemporary and familiar culinary in the community, but also healthy.

"By so, it is capable of improving their knowledge and skills. Most participants today are women in the culinary field," she closed.
