The Jakarta Parks and Urban Forest Agency is about to beautify the Martha Tiahahu Park in Blok M area, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta in the near future.

It is done to welcome the Jakarta's 494th anniversary

Data and Information Center (Pusdatin) Head, Ivan Murcahyo said the action that would be done was planting, tidying the plaza, painting and repairing security posts, painting fences and pillars, and repairing fountains and installations.

"It is done to welcome the Jakarta's 494th anniversary. We continue to decorate the city, one of which is by beautifying the Martha Tiahahu Park," he expressed, Tuesday (6/15).

He added the types of plants to be planted were Meranta Bali, Cabbage Palm, Crossandra, Loropetalum, Aistasia, Kadaka and Simbar Menjangan.

"The park will be closed when the work is in progress. It is targeted to be complete on the day that coincides the upcoming city's anniversary," he stated.
