The Jakarta Maritime Museum Management Unit (UP) is set to hold an online discussion or called webinar entitled "Seeing Onrust Island as Part of Jakarta City History and Historical Tourism Destinations", which falls on June 17.

Jakarta Maritime Museum UP Head, Berkah Shadaya said it was slated to be held at 10 AM to 12 PM via Zoom meeting.

Museums and Cultural Destinations are Closed

"To join, you can register at loket.com/event/diskusidaringpulauonrust. The event, in commemoration of the Jakarta's 494th Anniversary, will also be broadcast live on the MULA Indonesia Youtube channel," he expressed, Wednesday (6/16).

According to him, it would be attended by Tourism and Economy Minister, Sandiaga Uno; Jakarta Culture Agency Head, Iwan Henry Wardhana; Thousand Islands Regent, Junaedi; and other some speakers.

"We invite the public to take part in this online discussion regarding Onrust Island, both from a historical perspective and efforts to develop the existing tourism potential," he stated.
