Free Service Commitment to Illegal Levies Promoted in Thousand Islands

We want to ensure public services in all sectors run effectively and efficiently without illegal levies

The Jakarta Inspectorate conducts a virtual socialization on the eradication of illegal levies (pungli) for state civil apparatuses (ASN) under the Thousand Islands Regency administration.

Jakarta Inspector, Syaefuloh Hidayat disclosed it was conducted to ensure the effectiveness of the working group (pokja) for the eradication of illegal levies in Thousand Islands.

Central Jakarta Steps Up Fight against Illegal Levies

"We want to ensure public services in all sectors run effectively and efficiently without illegal levies," he expressed, Thursday (6/17).

Thousand Islands Regent, Junaedi added there are several services prone to illegal levies, namely in the licensing sector, education, health, regional taxes and levies, the tourism sector and the procurement of goods and services.

"We need to optimize supervision, we support Jakarta to be free of illegal levies, especially in Thousand Islands," he stated.
