Kuningan Timur BRT Bus Stop Returns to Operate

PT. Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) re-operated Kuningan Timur Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Bus Stop, South Jakarta.

We hope customers can get more pleasant trip with Transjakarta

It was done to follow up letter from PPK Pembangunan Prasarana LRT Jabodetabek of Transportation Ministry (Kemenhub) Railway Directorate General No. KA.008/1/20/SPPPP-KA/DIKA/21 concerning Notification of Kuningan Timur BRT Bus Stop Work Completion, as well as joint field survey result on June 4, 2021.

PT. Transit President Director, Sardjono Jhony Tjitrokusumo conveyed, Kuningan Timur BRT Bus Stop was previously used as temporary bus stop to support Jabodebek Light Rail Transit (LRT) construction.

After Eid, Transjakarta BRT and Non-BRT Services Return to Normal

"Starting today, we move to existing bus stop to serve customers again," Friday (6/18).

Kuningan Timur Bus Stop, he explained, is the fifth of total seven BRT bus stops affected by Jabodebek LRT that have re-operated.

According to him, all bus stops that have re-operated are ensured to comply with health protocol, where bus stops are equipped with safe distance signs on the floor and benches, portable handwashing facilities, hand sanitizers, and thermometer to check body temperature of people who enter bus stop area.

"We also use vending machine to purchase ticket and top up electronic card in order to minimize COVID-19 transmission," he mentioned.

Moreover, Transit customers now can use high-speed WiFi facility for free without quota limit at all bus stops while waiting for bus arrival which can be tracked using TIJE application.

"We hope customers can get more pleasant trip with Transjakarta," he said.
