It was taken according to Governor Decree number 759/2021 on the Micro-scale Public Activity Restrictions (PPKM Mikro and Governor Instruction number 39/2021 on Extension of PPKM Mikro at RT level.

Previously, face-to-face learning had been tested on April 7 to 29 towards 83 schools, starting from SD/MI, SMP/MTs, SMA/MA, SMK and course institutions, including cooperative and international schools.
Then it was followed by the addition of 143 schools that had passed the assessment, training, and had been vaccinated against Covid-19 for teachers and education personnel. The trial with 143 education units was previously planned to start on June 9 to 24.
In its execution, it went successfully and was greeted enthusiastically by students, teachers, and parents of students with zero case.
