Based on data from Jakarta Health Agency, in the last two weeks there is an increase in active cases due to homecoming backflow after Eid 1442 Hijri holiday, where as of May 31, 2021 there were 10,568 active cases in Jakarta where it increased from 3,365 cases from the previous two weeks.
"This year's spike in active cases is slightly better than last year which reached 30 thousand cases. Meanwhile, vaccination is accelerated to achieve vaccination target in stages 1 and 2, which is 3,000,689 people, where as of May 31, as many as 2,432,561 people have received first dose vaccine and 1,775,331 people have received second dose vaccine. In addition, there is also Gotong Royong Vaccination program, a mutual cooperation vaccination where 12,673 people have received the first dose vaccine through collaboration with various parties.
