Jakarta's 494th Anniversary Plenary Meeting, Anies: Collaboration is Key to Jakarta Awakening

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan and Vice Governor, Ahmad Riza Patria along with Jakarta Government officials attended the Jakarta Council (DPRD) Plenary Meeting in commemorating Jakarta's 494th Anniversary.
2021 is completion phase of various priority programs that are being implemented
In his speech, Anies explained that this year is a phase of finalizing priority programs. Therefore, he conveyed his gratitude and appreciation for Jakarta Government officials performance.
"2021 is completion phase of various priority programs that are being implemented. Many great people have helped, team work on meritocratic basis, God willing, will make work plans in Jakarta can be executed well and the result can be empowered in order to realize Jakarta as advanced city with happy citizens," he said, as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release.

Economic activities are moving again, social activities are running again, cultural activities are popping up again.
"We are optimistic that Jakarta will awaken and become a better Jakarta than before the pandemic. Because we have all been trained to face challenges. That's why this year we raise theme of Jakarta Bangkit (Jakarta Awakening). Conditions in Jakarta in 2021 have encouraged all elements of society to unite, work together, and collaborate to struggle during pandemic towards Jakarta Bangkit," he stated.
Jakarta Governor, Anies also explained tips for Jakarta to awaken, such as to promote collaborative approach in every development program, especially through Plus Jakarta that shows Jakarta as City of Collaboration. Jakarta Government chose to see development in Jakarta as opportunity for all elements to take a part in developing their city.
"In Jakarta, we meet with so many educated people, with economic abilities, social skills who can work together through collaborative activities, joint work activities. We, government have the authority, while community has innovation. When all of it is combined, it becomes tremendous force," he explained.
"Collaboration is a reflection of 'Let us Build Jakarta' together. Jakarta is ours. We express our appreciation to all parties who have taken a part in taking care Jakarta. It is hoped that collaboration of all resources in this city can be used to advance Jakarta," he asserted.
