The Jakarta Culture Agency (Disbud) is about to hold art performances in order to commemorate the Jakarta's 494th Anniversary tomorrow.
This is held to revive the enthusiasm and productivity of Betawi artists amid the Covid-19 pandemic
It will be broadcast virtually through a live streaming on Youtube Disbuddki, Betawi Cultural Institute, Setu Babakan UPKBB.
Jakarta Culture Agency Head, Iwan Henry Wardhana said it was divided into two sessions, the first at 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM and the second at 7:30 to 9 PM.

He explained a number of Jakarta artists would be involved during the event, namely Tanjidor Sanggar Putra Mayangsari, Gambang Kromong Sanggar Sekojor, Hadroh Sanggar Al-Jabar, and Setia Warga.
"Through this event, efforts to preserve Betawi arts will remain continue and the public can still enjoy entertainment in the context of Jakarta's anniversary from home, as this year Jakarta is still struggling from the pandemic," he said.
