City Council Encourages Residents to Be Disciplined in Implementing Health Protocol

Jakarta Council (DPRD) Chairperson, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi asked Jakarta residents to be disciplined in implementing health protocol by always wearing mask, washing hands, maintaining safe distance, reducing mobility, and avoiding crowds. It was emphasized in his remarks during Plenary Meeting in commemorating Jakarta's 494th Anniversary, Tuesday (6/22).

Thus, let us implement health protocol well

According to him, 'Jakarta Bangkit' which raised as this year's theme showed the need for joint efforts between government and all residents of Jakarta to rise from adversity due to pandemic, as well as breaking the chain of COVID-19 transmission by implementing health protocol.

"Jakarta's 494th Anniversary is the second year where we celebrate it during pandemic. Thus, let us implement health protocol well," he conveyed.

Jakarta's anniversary in this year was not merely celebrated ceremonially, but it must be used as momentum for introspecting and evaluating ourselves. Because responsibility is placed between executive and legislative ranks to realize synergy of government administration.

"We see and compare it with progress that has been achieved, as well as projecting the goals that should be realized in the future," he asserted.
