BMKG Forecasts Light Rain in Parts of Jakarta

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has forecast that Jakarta will see light to medium rain for the next three days in the late afternoon and or at night, accompanied with thunder as well as strong winds.

"Jakartans must be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in West, Central, and South Jakarta in the late afternoon until evening; North Jakarta in evening and at dawn," stated BMKG's official site.

In the afternoon, light rain is expected to see in West and Central Jakarta, rain accompanied by South Jakarta, medium rain in East Jakarta, and cloudy in North Jakarta and Thousand Islands.

Heavy Rainfall in Several Jakarta Regions This Late Afternoon, BMKG Says

Meanwhile in the evening, all five regions will be cloudy, including in Thousand Islands.

At tomorrow's dawn, cloudy is expected in West, Central, South, and East Jakarta, as well as light rain in North Jakarta and Thousand Islands.

Temperatures in five regions and Thousand Islands are predicted at 23 to 32 degrees Celsius with air humidity of 65 to 100 percent.
