22 Monitoring Posts Provided in W. Jakarta as Crime Anticipation

West Jakarta Police built 22 monitoring post in some criminal-prone locations. It is done because crime case likely to increase each year. These criminal-prone locations are some sub-districts, such as two posts installed in Slipi traffic light and next to Peninsula Hotel (Palmerah Sub-Districts).
The post also serves to parse traffic congestion, particularly at rush hour
Furthermore, three posts built in Tomang, Grogol, and Kalijodo traffic light (Grogol Petamburan Sub-District), three posts in Olimo traffic light and Asemka Market (Tamansari Sub-District), and some posts built in Cengkareng traffic light, Green Garden traffic light and Cengkareng Sluice Gate (Cengkareng Sub-District).

He furthered that such monitoring post installation was initiated by City Police Chief, Ins. Gen, Unggung Cahyoni, to optimize public service.
"The post also serves to parse traffic congestion, particularly at rush hour," he expressed.
Sr. Comr. Heru said it is proven effective in suppressing crime case up to 60 percent. "According to the information gathered, people can easily report crimes that occur in their neighborhood to us," he closed.
