The North Jakarta administration has started to set up the command posts for the micro-scale public activity restrictions (PPKM Mikro) in its area.

North Jakarta Mayor, Ali Maulana Hakim said those posts were set up at city, sub-district to urban village levels. They were the control center to strengthen coordination and information about the development of Covid-19 cases in the local area.

He went on to say that the post provided dynamic and static data, such as the development of zones to residents who are undergoing independent and controlled isolation, including residents can also ask for help for residents who are exposed to Covid-19.
"We implement a picket system, the day and night there must be officers taking turns on standby at the post," he explained.

"The increasing number of active positive cases after the Eid holiday resulted in the handling of patients in a number of health facilities exceeding the limits of ability.
