Throughout June, Health Protocol Education Held in 1.139 Locations of East Jakarta

Throughout June 2021, the East Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency has educated the public about health protocols to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in 1,139 locations.

Fire and Rescue Sub-agency Head, M uchtar Zakaria said socialization and education were held in ten sub-districts. This number in June increased compared to May which reached 1,131 locations.

"Every day our men routinely socialize using a megaphone while riding motorbikes and cars," he said, Wednesday (7/7).

While Prevention Division Head, Edi Parwoko explained that those 1,139 locations consisted of 353 houses of worship, 762 neighborhood roads and 4 educational institutions.

"It is done at 9 AM and at 4 PM to 5 PM," he stated.

As for the operational vehicles that were deployed to hold the socialization throughout last June, there were 128 cars and 436 motorbikes, with a total of 1,028 personnel.

Even, his party also put up stickers or pamphlets containing an appeal thus the public remains aware of the dangers of fire, including recommendations to maintain health protocols to prevent Covid-19.

He added it was focused on Jalan Squadron RT 03/01, Halim Perdanakusuma Urban Village, Makasar; Jalan AH. Nasution in the front of Haji Pondok Gede Hospital, RT 06/02 Pinang Ranti; Jalan Raya Pondok Gede, Dukuh Urban Village, Kramat Jati.

Then at Darunnajah Mosque, Puskesad Complex; Jalan Mayjen Sutoyo Cililitan, Baitushshidqy Mosque, Jalan Raya PKP RW 08, Kelapa Dua Wetan Urban Village, Ciracas, Al Muhajirin Mosque; Jalan Delima 2, RT 015/03, Rambutan Urban Village, and so on.
