Parts of Jakarta to See Light Rain at Noon This Sunday

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has forecast rain in some areas of the capital today, Sunday (7/11).

"Jakartans must be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in part of West, South and East Jakarta areas at noon and in the late afternoon," stated BMKG's official site.

BMKG Predicts Cloudy and Light Rain in Parts of Jakarta

In the afternoon, light rain is expected to shower Central and North Jakarta. South, East and West Jakarta will see some rain accompanied by lightning. While Thousand Islands will be clear cloudy.

Entering the night, West, North Jakarta and Thousand Islands will see light rain, followed by clear cloudy in South and East Jakarta.

Light rain will continue into the early hours of the morning in Thousand Islands. Meanwhile, other areas of Jakarta will see cloudy.

Temperatures in five regions and Thousand Islands is predicted at 25 to 31 degrees Celsius with air humidity of 70 to 95 percent.
