East Jakarta Sudinhub Deploys 20 Personnel in Additional Checkpoints

East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency (Sudinhub) added 20 personnel to guard two additional checkpoints starting Thursday (7/15).

10 personnel are deployed to each checkpoints and divided into two shifts from 6:00 to 22:00

East Jakarta Sudinhub's Monitoring and Controlling Section Head, Riky Erwinda mentioned, two additional checkpoints are located on Jl. D.I. Panjaitan that leads to Jl. Basuki Rahmat or Tebet, South Jakarta.

Then on Jl. Basuki Rahmat that leads to under Basura Underpass or from east to west. Vehicles from east of Jl. Basuki Rahmat will be diverted to Jl. D.I. Panjaitan. While vehicles from Jl. D.I. Panjaitan can't enter to Tebet, because they are diverted to go through Jl. Ahmad Yani or Jatinegara Station.

"We deploy 20 personnel to be on standby in two additional checkpoints. 10 personnel are deployed to each checkpoints and divided into two shifts from 6:00 to 22:00," he explained.

According to him, personnel were deployed to new checkpoints together with other personnel from Satpol PP, Gulkarmat, TNI and police. In East Jakarta, there are three additional checkpoints, where previously it was four checkpoints.

"If there are another additional checkpoints, we will hand it over to Transportation Unit at sub-district level," he conveyed.

Meanwhile, for checkpoints outside Jakarta, such as Jl. Toll Jakarta-Cikampek and Jl. Raya Pantura, Kedung Waringin, Bekasi, so far there has been no deployment of personnel. Because it is still being discussed at Jakarta Transportation Agency.
