Bungur Satpol PP Distributes 50 Staple Food Packages to Street Vendors

Bungur Urban Village Satpol PP, Senen Sub-district, Central Jakarta distributed tens staple food packages to street vendors (PKLs) affected by Emergency PPKM policy.

Bungur Urban Village Satpol PP Head, Erwin explained, each staple food packages contained of rice, cooking oil, sugar, instant noodles, and snacks.

"Hopefully this assistance can help them in facing economic difficulties," he conveyed, Wednesday (7/21).

He hopes street vendors will continue to comply with health protocol and regulations during Emergency PPKM in order to break chain of COVID-19 transmission.

Lutfia, one of street vendors who received staple food package thanked personnel for the assistance. She admitted that her income from selling drinks is declining, especially during Emergency PPKM period.

"This assistance is very helpful because income from selling drinks decreased during PPKM," she said.
