Tens Sacrificial Animals Distributed to 11 Residential Islands

Total 30 sacrificial animals (qurban) from companies and religious organizations were distributed to 11 residential islands in Thousand Islands Regency.

Residents just stay at home. Let the committee distributes qurban meat from house to house

Thousand Islands Regent, Junaedi mentioned, those qurban animals were directly handed over to North Thousand Islands Sub-district and South Thousand Islands Sub-district Heads thus later it could be distributed immediately to urban villages.

"Thank God, 11 residential islands receive qurban animals, hopefully this can be useful for residents who receive them and it can be act of worship for those who give qurban," he said when symbolically handed over qurban animals at Kaliadem Pier, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, Monday (7/19).

He reminded people to carry out qurban animals slaughtering according to health protocol and no crowds.

"Residents just stay at home. Let the committee distributes qurban meat from house to house," he asserted.

Thousand Islands Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security Sub-agency Head, Devi Lidya stated, qurban animals consisted of 13 cows and 17 goats.

"Their health have been checked and they meet requirements to be sacrificed. We also provide assistance when carrying out qurban slaughtering by deploying 17 health workers," he conveyed.
