UPAS: School Bus Has Served 20,220 People to Get Vaccinated

This is our commitment to succeed the government's program

The School Transportation Management Unit (UPAS) for Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) has noted that as many as 20,220 residents have enjoyed the school bus to reach the vaccination centers throughout March 24 to July 24.

UPAS Head, Ali Mutrhadho said, as many as 222 buses were deployed to serve residents to reach 300 vaccination centers.

"We have coordinated with the urban village to the city apparatuses regarding the technicalities and gathering points for picking up residents who will be vaccinated," he said, Monday (7/26).

He explained, those buses were prepared to cover the high demand for transportation availability in line with the enthusiasm of the people who want to get vaccinated and to speed up vaccination targets in Jakarta.

"This is our commitment to succeed the government's program. Surely more people get vaccinated will increase their herd immunity," he stated.
