1,189,333 North Jakarta Residents Have Undergone First Dose

The second dose at the same period has been given to 311,555 people

As many as 1,189,333 out of 1,440,899 residents aged 12 years and over in North Jakarta, underwent the first dose on July 27.

North Jakarta Health Sub-agency's Disease Prevention and Control (P2P) Division Head, Arief Wahyudi said, all parties were encouraged to collaborate to accelerate vaccination.

"We're expanding vaccination centers for puskesmas, private companies, BUMN, BUMD, army, police, schools, mass organizations to political parties, all moving quickly together to achieve the vaccination target in North Jakarta," he expressed, Friday (7/30).

He added, the first dose for the general public and vulnerable people had touched 72.85 percent; elderly 71.96 percent; teenager 60.41 percent; health workers 131.73 percent; and public officers 121.76 percent.

"The second dose at the same period has been given to 311,555 people," he explained.

As of July 27, he added, there were 5,826 active cases of Covid-19 that spread over six sub-districts with 3,715 people under isolation.

"The number has decreased drastically than last week, which touched 10,029 cases," he stated.
