Jakarta Government continues to control COVID-19 pandemic. Not only implementing 3T, COVID-19 vaccination is also being promoted to priority groups. However, community participation is still needed to remain disciplined in implementing health protocols.

Given that COVID-19 vaccination can only reduce the impact of exposure, there is still a possibility of COVID-19 transmission if people don't follow health protocols. It can be seen from positive cases that are still fluctuating and now tend to increase. It needs cooperation from all sides to break the transmission chain.
Jakarta Health Agency's Disease Prevention and Control Division Head, Dwi Oktavia stated, based on the latest data from Jakarta Health Agency, PCR test has been carried out to 26,296 specimens.

Besides, Antigen test was also conducted to 11,764 people with 457 positive results and 11,307 negative results.
She mentioned that WHO is targeting to test 1,000 people using PCR per one million population per week (not specimens), meaning that WHO target for Jakarta is at least 10,645 people should be tested per week. "This target has been exceeded by Jakarta for some time. In the past week, 129,008 people were tested using PCR. While number of people tested for PCR in Jakarta has now reached 514,574 per million population," she explained as quoted from PPID Press Release.
Number of active cases is increased by 2,611 cases thus in total it reached 10,176 active cases as of today (including people who are still being treated/isolated). Moreover, for total confirmed cases in Jakarta as of today reached 829,850 cases. It should be noted that positive antigen test results in Jakarta were not included in total positive cases because all were reconfirmed by PCR.
From total positive cases, 806,924 people recovered with recovery rate of 97.2% and 12,750 people died with mortality rate of 1.5%. While mortality rate in Indonesia reached 2.8%
Positivity rate in Jakarta in the past week reached 10.2%, while the percentage of positive cases in total reached 15.1%. WHO also set standard positive cases percentage no more than 5%.
Meanwhile, vaccination process is still ongoing. For vaccination program, first dose vaccines had been given to 8,185,795 (92.9%), where 83,731 people had been injected with first dose vaccines today. While second dose vaccines had been given to 3,184,396 people (36.1%), where 74,015 people had been injected with second dose vaccines today.
Related to vaccination for residents aged 12-17 years, the first dose vaccines had been given to 77.7% of target and second dose 7.2% of target. While for 18-59 years, the first dose vaccines had been given 94.7% of target and second dose vaccines 35.1% of the target. For elderly group, first dose vaccines had been given to 82.0% of target and second dose vaccines 70.0% of target. While for mutual cooperation vaccination (Vaksinasi Gotong Royong) program, first dose vaccines had been given to 167,891 people and second dose vaccines to 113,667 people.
Jakarta Satpol PP also gives sanction for anyone who don't wear mask and violate health protocols, and intensifies guest book data collection, as well as other forms of PSBB violations, such as in restaurants, business places, and industrial places. The imposed sanctions are in form of social work, fines, temporary suspension of activity, and revocation of business license.
Based on daily report submitted by Jakarta Satpol PP on August 6, 2021, at 18:00, Satpol PP had collected fine Rp 3,500,000 from mask operation and monitoring restaurants, cafes and food stalls, offices, workplaces, and business places. During the operation, 1 restaurants, food stalls, and cafes, as well as 2 business places were temporarily suspended.
Hopefully, all residents can be more disciplined and participated in breaking the chain of COVID-19 transmission.
Jakarta Government advised people who want to be vaccinated to go directly to vaccination site. In faster way, people can register online through JAKI app or corona.jakarta.go.id/vaksinasi. By registering online, people can choose time and place of vaccination, as well as conduct online health pre-screening test.
Vaccination sites can be checked through google maps app. Only by writing 'vaksin COVID-19', people can get information about vaccination site locations and how to get there.

- Residents with Jakarta ID card
- Residents with ID cards from outside Jakarta, but domiciled in Jakarta (bringing domicile letter obtained from RT administrator, not necessarily from RT Head)
