He furthered the park, located on Jalan Raya Utan Kayu, was prepared for local residents, especially millennials. There would be supporting facilities, such as skate board and two-story multipurpose room where the upper part for a reading garden, the lower for a shelter, and the front for a vertical garden.

"The urban village and sub-district can use the room for installing regional product displays, ranging from handicrafts, culinary, etc. We utilize the existing land as much as possible thus it is neatly arranged and green," he exclaimed, on Tuesday (9/10).

According to him, the park concept is a pocket park thus the surrounding people can get air ventilation and interaction space. In the park, people can freely play, gather while chatting with each other.

"It will become an icon of Matraman Sub-district," he concluded.

Parks Division Head, Yanti Rosanna added, the park development has been ongoing since July 15.

"Besides the skate board, the parapet will have a mural that tells about the achievements that have been achieved by Matraman," she explained.

She hoped that people could be triggered to love and feel ownership in caring for and maintaining it properly, as the Matraman area is lack of green open space.

"By so, people can enjoy and care for the park well," she hoped.
