An effort to create new and renewable energy is conducted by Jakarta Provincial Government. That effort is processing waste into biogas energy.
We’re developing the waste technology into biogas energy
“We’re developing the waste technology into biogas energy. The effort is being done in Cipayung Urban Village and Pondok Kopi Urban Village,” said Head of Applied Technology Division for East Jakarta Community and Women Empowerment and Family Planning Board, Saida, Tuesday (11/25).
According to Saida, the effort to turn waste into biogas energy is simple, only by using a tank to store the waste which precipitated to produce ammonia gas that is then mixed with compound materials that can produce gas energy.

Even so, Said admitted that this program is still in testing phase. In the future, the program will be done more profound, thus waste could be an alternative energy.
“Although it is still trial, but we continue to develop it thus waste could be biogas energy,” she asserted.
In addition to turning waste into biogas energy, Saida disclosed that her party is also developing industry technology in form of water treatment to replace oil for vehicle’s fuel, as well as food processing technology in form of agriculture and livestock supporting machines.
“We are also testing water to be used as oil replacement. But, it is just trial,” she told.
