Cilincing RSUD Opens Moderna Vaccination Service

The Cilincing Regional General Hospital (RSUD), North Jakarta opens a Covid-19 vaccination service using Moderna for people (with Jakarta ID card) who have never received Sinovac or Astrazeneca jabs due to comorbid. The Moderna vaccine is also given to health workers for the third dose.

This second dose will be given after 28 days ahead

Cilincing RSUD Director, Suzi Freud said, the service just started today. "Especially for the Moderna vaccine, we give it on the 8th floor of the hall with a quota of 10 vials or 140 participants," she expressed, Monday (8/23).

From morning until closing at 12 PM, 28 people had received Moderna vaccines. 23 of them were residents and five were health workers for Covid-19 booster.

"This second dose will be given after 28 days ahead," he she explained.

Until August 23, she added, as many as 117 out of 146 health and support workers at the hospital were targeted to be vaccinated.

"29 are delayed and will be rescheduled on the upcoming Friday," she added.

One of participants, Tanti (33), a resident of Jalan Bougenville, Koja admitted that she got the information from social media and was deliberately looking for info for the Moderna vaccine.

"My hope is stay healthy, those who have comorbid could also be vaccinated to get herd immunity," she hoped.
