East Jakarta Develops Drainages in Seven Locations

This project work is expected to be capable of minimizing flooding in such locations

The East Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency has started re-continuouing the development of the second phase of drainages in seven locations.

Drainage Development and Improvement Division Head, Tengku Saugi Zikri said, the first phase had completed last two weeks ago. The total length of the drainage being built was 4,589 kilometers with a budget of around Rp 15 billion.

Currently his party was focused on the second phase in seven locations with a project worth Rp 11.926 billion and a total length of 6,660 meters of drainages.

"The first phase was executed in eight locations and was completed two weeks ago. And now the second phase is targeted to be complete in three months ahead," he said, Monday (8/23).

According to him, its development and its equipment were processed through e-catalog purchasing system. This second stage was done in accordance with the request of residents through the 2020 Musrenbang.

Those seven locations were Jalan Masjid Nurul Hidayah Cipayung Urban Village, Jalan Kekeran Batu Ampar Urban Village, Jalan Pisangan Baru Tengah I Pisangan Baru Urban Village, Jalan Kesatrian 8 Kebon Manggis Urban Village.

Then Jalan Pendidikan Pekayon Urban Village, Jalan Kikir Kayu Putih Urban Village, and Jalan  Mustika Raya Ciracas Urban Village.

"This project work is expected to be capable of minimizing flooding in such locations," he hoped.
