Jakartans Urged to Care for Public Facilities

Jakarta Bina Marga Agency has called on residents to help prevent the possible vandalism in public facilities in the capital

If you see the vandalism in pedestrian bridges (JPOs), underpasses or flyovers, you can report it through CRM or Jakarta Bina Marga social media such as Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook

"If you see the vandalism in pedestrian bridges (JPOs), underpasses or flyovers, you can report it through CRM or Jakarta Bina Marga social media such as Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook," expressed Jakarta Bina Marga Agency Head, Hari Nugroho, Wednesday (8/25).

He explained, this action was categorized as an unlawful act where the perpetrator could be subject to social sanctions and even threatened with criminal punishment.

"To anticipate it, we also already have CCTV that installed in public facilities," he explained.

Related with the vandalism that took place at the instagramable JPO on Jalan Sudirman some time ago, it had been under control.

"We immediately follow up when we receive information. I urge artistic expression can be done in a place or media that does not damage the aesthetics of public facilities," he stressed.
