Jakarta Provincial Government has prepared social protection assistance for orphans whose parents died due to COVID-19.
The social protection assistance is targeted at children aged 0-21 years in need
Jakarta Secretary's Acting Assistant for Public Welfare, Uus Kuswanto said, assistance was provided in form of educational assistance and other social assistance, both from Provincial Government and other collaborators.
"The social protection assistance is targeted at children aged 0-21 years in need. If there are children who don't have guardians who are able to take care of them, we will prepare public and private orphanages with full support from Jakarta Government," he said as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release, Saturday (8/28).

"We want to ensure the social protection assistance is on target. Thus completeness on data and data verification should be carried out carefully, but must be completed as soon as possible," he mentioned.
