13 Schools in Thousand Islands are Ready to Start PTM Tomorrow

As many as 13 schools spread over Thousand Islands are ready to implement face-to-face learning (PTM) starting Monday (8/30).

We also have coordinated with the Water Transportation Technical Unit for providing boats as a means of transportation during PTM

Thousand Island Education Sub-agency Acting Head, Sri Rahayu Asih Subekti said, those 13 schools were namely SDN Pulau Tidung 01, SDN Pulau Kelapa 01, SDN Pulau Pari 01, SDN Pulau Kelapa 02, SDN Pulau Tidung 02, SDN Pulau Harapan 01, SDN Untung Jawa 01, SDN Pulau Panggang 01, and SDN Pulau Panggang 02.

"There are also SMPN 241 Pulau Tidung, SMPN 285 Pulau Untung Jawa, SMPN Satu Atap 02 Pulau Sebira and SMAN 69 Pulau Pramuka," he expressed, Sunday (8/29).

School Bus Prepared to Faciliate Students During PTM Period

According to her, they had passed through assessment and training stage. Then the number of students for PTM was only 50 percent.

"By so, it is expected to run smoothly and safe from Covid-19," she explained.

To support it, she added, all schools were disinfected by Thousand Islands Fire and Rescue Sub-agency and Indonesian Red Cross (PMI).

"We also have coordinated with the Water Transportation Technical Unit for providing boats as a means of transportation during PTM," she exclaimed.
