Children Below 12 Allowed in Malls

The government has allowed children under 12 years of age to visit malls or shopping centers with parental assistance during the PPKM Level 3 period.

It refers to Gubernatorial Regulation number 1122/2021 on the implementation of PPKM Level 3 Period and Industry Trade Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Agency Head Decree number 566/2021 on the implementation of PPKM Level 3 Period in the Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises Sector.

"But they are not allowed to enter the cinema inside or outside the mall, including children's playgrounds in malls and trade centers," expressed Jakarta PPKUKM Agency Head, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo, Thursday (9/23).

She added, they were also allowed to enter minimarkets, supermarkets and hypermarkets.
