Infiltration Wells Construction Work on Jalan Kompleks Angkasa Pura has Started

Kemayoran Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency, Central Jakarta has started infiltration wells construction work on Jalan Kompleks Angkasa Pura, Kebon Kosong Urban Village.

Previously, we have completed channel construction on this location

Kemayoran Sub-district SDA Unit Head, Supriyadi conveyed, his side started the construction work by installing stones and excavating the soil which take about three days.

"Previously, we have completed channel construction on this location. Today, we continue to build infiltration wells. Hopefully it can overcome inundation that often occurs," he stated, Friday (10/1).

200 Joint Personnel Ready to Handle Floods in East Jakarta

His side deployed 9 personnel to build infiltration wells manually using mini excavator.

"This infiltration well will be built with length 4.5 meters, top width 15 meters, bottom width 11.25 meters and height 2.8 meters. We want to build it as good and neat as possible. It is estimated to be completed next November," he explained.

His side uses porous concrete material. The wall will be installed with stones first, then sand and cement.
