East Jakarta Secondary Education Sub-Department is targeting rehabilitation process in 20 buildings of Senior High School (SMA) and Vocational School (SMK) to be completed in the upcoming December.

According to Budiana, East Jakarta Secondary Education Sub-Department, the rehab has reached 90 percent. "We just do the finishing and is hoped can complete in the upcoming December," he stated, Thursday (11/27).

He disclosed that those 20 damaged buildings consist of SMA 93, SMA 53, SMA 98, SMK 7, SMK 51, SMK 58, and SMK 22. 

He revealed a routine maintenance needs is much needed to create a school environment that is clean, neat, and comfortable. In addition, the high number of school-age population should also be anticipated by providing sufficient capacity for students in public schools.

"We need to do rehab because the education quality needs to be supported by adequate infrastructures," he uttered.
