Jakartan Swimmers Win Gold and Bronze Medals at PON XX

Jakartan artistic swimming sport athletes won one gold medal and one bronze medal at PON XX, Papua.

Our target is actually two gold, nevertheless we are still grateful, they have tried well for Jakarta

Jakarta Artistic Swimming Team Manager, Jovita Rama Kristin said, the gold medal was won from the team number, while the bronze medal was won from the duet number.

"Our target is actually two gold, nevertheless we are still grateful, they have tried well for Jakarta," she expressed, Sunday (10/10).

She explained, artistic swimming athletes in the team number was including Andriani S Ardhana, Hilda Tri Julyandra, Gabrielle Permata Sari, Visky Sekar Floreta Pribadi, Flairene Chandrea Wonomiharjo, Naura Ulfa, Maya Aggun Beer, Nayla Adiva Nurrisqa.

"We managed to collect 71.0635 results from 35.1301 technical routine points and 35.9334 free routine points," she explained.

She hoped that this result could help bring Jakarta to the title of Overall Champion.

"I also hope that athletes from other sports can also get a lot of medals. Come on, keep going and get gold," she exclaimed.

She added that artistic swimming will continue to pay attention to the regeneration of athletes in order to maintain outstanding and reliable talents.

"These swimmers are still very young. Therefore, we're optimistic they will be more mature and can achieve more in the next PON," she stressed.
