Collapsed Sheet Pile on Jalan Kramat Kwitang Nomor 9 Being Repaired

Some 20 officers and excavators from Central Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency has started repairing the collapsed sheet pile of the water channel on Jalan Kramat Kwitang Number 9, Kwitang Urban Village, Senen Sub-district.

Thus far it has touched 40 percent and is targeted to be complete next week

Central Jakarta SDA's Maintenance Division Head, Achmad Daeroby said, the sheet pile was collapsed after being hit by a landslide due to the theft of underground cables by irresponsible people.

"Indeed a lot of utility cables under these sidewalks and channels. We fixed it by reinstalling the u-ditch," he expressed, Tuesday (10/12).

According to him, it was carried out by installing a u-ditch measuring 80 centimeters long, 60 centimeters wide and 120 centimeters high. It was also elevated around 1.15 meters high.

"Thus far it has touched 40 percent and is targeted to be complete next week," he stated.
