Krukut River Mud Dredging on Jl. Gatot Subroto - Jenderal Sudirman Reaches 60 Percent

Progress of Krukut River dredging work from Jalan Gatot Subroto until Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Setiabudi Sub-district, South Jakarta along 1.2 kilometers, which started on September 30, has now reached 60 percent.

If it goes well, dredging will be finished in the next two weeks

Setiabudi Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Unit Head, Yansori conveyed, Gerebek Lumpur activity in this location was divided into three segments. The first segment starts from Gatot Subroto Bridge to Jalan Karet Sawah 2, second segment from Karet Sawah 2 to Jalan Karet Sawah, and third segment from entrance of AIA building to Jalan Jenderal Sudirman Bridge.

"For almost two weeks, the dredging progress of three segments has reached around 60 percent," he mentioned, Tuesday (10/12).

415 Joint Personnel and 10 Excavators Deployed to Dredge Mookervart River

Until now, mud in Krukut River is currently being dredged as deep as one meter with volume about 5,330 cubic meters.  

In this project, his side deployed 50 personnel with 10 heavy equipment and 30 dump trucks. Every day, his side dredged about 224-334 cubic meters mud from the site.

"This mud dredging can increase river's capacity. If it goes well, dredging will be finished in the next two weeks," he said.
