Channel along Jalan Cempaka Putih Tengah XXVI Being Normalized

As many as 15 personnel of Cempaka Putih Sub-district's Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit have started normalizing the water channel alongside Jalan Cempaka Putih Tengah XXVI, Cempaka Putih Timur Urban Village, Cempaka Putih Sub-district.

It is targeted to be complete by the end of this month

Cempaka Putih Sub-districts' SDA Executing Unit Head, Subandi said, the 340 meter long channel looked damaged with a lot of mud that caused water to overflow onto the road when it rained

"It has been ongoing since October 11 and has touched five percent. It is targeted to be complete by the end of this month," he expressed, Friday (10/15).

SDA Personnel Normalize Channel on Jalan Raya Pasar Minggu

According to him, it was carried out by draining the channel and installing a u-ditch measuring 40x40x120 centimeters in order to optimally accommodate water. Then the materials needed include sand, cement, river stone, hoe, breaker, generator and crowbar.

"Hopefully, it can make residents feel safer and more comfortable, especially during heavy rains. The environment also looks cleaner and neater," he stated.
